Before advertising on Google Shopping, it is necessary to upload the product to the Google Product Management Platform (GMC).

Steps:
1. Register for Gmail
2. Register GMC and Google Ads accounts with Gmail
3. Ensure truthful information
4. Verify website ownership (through file/domain/plugin verification)
5. Upload product feed (plugin)
6. Three keyword fields: GTIN, MPN, Brand
GTIN Global Trade Item Number is an internationally recognized product barcode. If the product does not have a GTIN, an exemption must be applied for at GMC;  
MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) is an internal number assigned by manufacturers to products, used to distinguish different models or versions under the same brand (e.g. "ABCD-1234"). For self-produced products without GTIN, MPN must be filled in to help consumers compare the parameter differences of different models of products under the same brand;
Brand (brand name) must be completely consistent with the physical product/official website brand, and it is prohibited to fill in "Generic" or no brand description. Private brands must be associated with domain names or company names
7. The first submission of product feed review usually takes 5-7 days, and subsequent updates are faster

1. Merchant information
Fill in the merchant's address, phone number, email and other information truthfully [address according to business license]
And keep it consistent with the information on the website [footer, contact us page]
Verify and declare ownership of domain names
2. Transportation policy
Truthfully fill in transportation policy information
The order deadline, order processing time, shipping cost, etc. should be consistent with the information on the website
3. Return Policy
Fill in the return policy information truthfully
Link to return policy, acceptance of returns and exchanges, return deadline, return method, relisting fee, Return Label [customer responsibility]
And keep it consistent with the information on the website
Policy location: The return terms need to be displayed synchronously in the website footer, product details page, and settlement page
4. Product Feed
Feed format specification "support.google.com/merchants/answer/7052112“
Ensure that the title, image, and other attributes in the feed comply with the policy specifications mentioned above
Taxes and fees are only applicable to the United States region: if no taxes are levied, they can be left blank or set to 0; Non US regions can be ignored
Prohibit full site discounts (such as all products marked as 50% off), which can easily be judged as false promotions
The product details page must indicate weight/size
Third party association with PayPal to enhance authenticity. PayPal account must match GMC registered email address

1. Compliance
The products sold are compliant products and cannot be counterfeit or infringing products,

2. Copywriting
For company introductions, product descriptions, and other copywriting, describe them truthfully without exaggeration or false advertising. Avoid using words such as "Our company is an industry leader" and product titles such as "best", "free shipping", "discount", etc
 
3. About Us
You can use AI tools to write an introduction about us, describe it truthfully, and avoid exaggeration
 
4. Contact us
The address should be consistent with the merchant address of GMC. In the early stage of the new website, do not write the overseas warehouse address. The phone number should indicate the country area code, time zone, and contact form

Actual refundable warehouse address must be provided (not just email address) Violation penalty: account suspension

Ensure that there are no robots blocking Google ads
Ensure smooth processes such as adding purchases and checking out
Ensure information consistency: for example, the homepage says free shipping, but there is a charge at checkout, etc
Ensure that the payment method displayed at checkout is consistent with the payment/footer display
Do not block access to certain countries in the early stage
Disable the 'automatic pop-up collection email' function;
Plugin Security: Disable false comment plugins and traffic boosting tools; Violation punishment: permanent account suspension

The Importance of Appeal
Google Shopping Ads (PMAX) is the most effective form of advertising with the highest conversion rate.
The prerequisite for shopping advertising is to have a GMC account to manage product information, and GMC review is very strict, often resulting in account suspension.
2. Difficulties in appealing
The difficulty lies in Google not informing you of any violations, requiring you to rectify the website and content yourself, and then submit it for review.
3. How to appeal
”support.google.com/merchants/contact/suspended....“
Before conducting a comprehensive overhaul of the website, try not to click the 'I disagree' button directly. Failure to pass the review more than 3 times will result in a 7-day freeze period
If you are certain that the rectification has been completed, you do not need to write an appeal letter and can directly click the 'I disagree' button to request manual review
4. Precautions
After GMC is banned, do not delete and reapply, or register again with a different email, as both are serious violations
After being banned, we can only try our best to rectify the website appeal
5. Reason for account suspension
Most false statements, return and exchange policies, privacy policies, company information, etc. must be truthful
